This safety line is meant to connect one front line (or 2 front lines) to the leash the user has attached to his harness.

The safety line has a bungee inside it, so that when the user trims the kite, the stainless steel ring that connects to the leash always remain "glued" to the bottom part of the quick releaser. So the safety line does not "fly around" if you trim the kite.

This safety line can be replaced very easily. Sometimes called "short fifth line".

Made of strong dyneema rope. Can sustain 500 kg.

There are 3 versions :

  • short length for school bars or Starter series (4 direct lines after the trim pulley, no front leader line) - length when fully stretched: about 1.21 meter
  • long length, for Pro Model series (bars with a 1.12 meter front leader line after the trim pulley)- length when fully stretched: about 2.26 meter
  • race foil bars (double pulley system) - - length when fully stretched: about 1.35 meter
