Thanks to a combination of stainless steel and carbon, the AKA 4 can withstand loads twice the minimum required by Afnor and ISO standards, without deformation or accidental release. During our 700 kg load tests, no damage was observed. Big air enthusiasts can ride with confidence.

Maximum safety standards

The AKA 4 release fully complies with Afnor NF S52-503 and ISO 21853 standards. Tests under extreme conditions have shown that it takes only 5 to 7 kg of force to release under a 240 kg load, the equivalent of two 120 kg riders.

Most compact QR on the market

Thanks to its unique design, the ceramic line guide is integrated into the body of the release mechanism (rather than on top), making it several centimeters shorter than all its competitors. A real plus for foil and wave riders, or riders of smaller stature.

Kite lines untangling

Untangling is usually automatic, thanks to the ceramic ball bearing and integrated splitter. No more tangled lines after every kite loop or snowkiting session: you can ride without interruption. Care & maintenance

Like any component subject to wear and tear, certain parts need to be replaced regularly:

- The chicken loop cord, at least every 3 years, or more often if you ride frequently or jump during every session.

- The two internal elastic bands (push button and click-in system) should also be checked, especially if you exceed 50 sessions per year or if you ride in hot areas (southern France, tropics, etc.).
