Stopper for freestyling.
The stopper allows to control the height of the depower throw while riding.
It is composed of a square box and a hollow ball :
the hollow ball squeezes the 2 ropes of the depower rope while the box widens the 2 ropes. When the ball and the square box are close to each other, the bar is stopped and cannot move up.

Warning: the stopper is only for expert riders. This is by the way the reason why it is not mounted on all bars.
If you move the stopper downwards, the kite may not depower completely. This is appreciated by freestylers when they make tricks and need to let the bar while rotating for instance.
To move the stopper up or down, put your fingers between the hollow ball and the square box, and move either one up or down.
