This new version comes with the AKA 3 chicken loop and a double ring for the leash.

This race bar is currently used by Olivia Lys, buggy world champion. Olivia rides with Ozone foil kites. Albéric Dubray has won world championship of speed crossing with the Kite Attitude Race Foil Bar. Arnaud Troalen just won the French title of hydrofoiling freestyle. The race bar was originally designed with Arnaud Troalen, racing manager and trainer, and Kieran Leborgne, one of the best promissing young riders in the world hydrofoil championship. Other talented riders in the world tour use the race bar, such as Thomas Lombardo, Malo Quernec...

During a race, the wind may change from 8 to 35 knots, especially in the South of France. So the riders have to use the biggest possible kite to be as fast as possible in mild winds... and must keep this big kite in big gusts. Riding a 9m2 foil kite and a foil in 35 knots wind would be merely impossible without this bar.

This race bar comes with more than one meter of depower (!), with a double pulley.

The trim can go throw the bar center or not: this is your choice.

Lines lengths

The current trend is to race with fairly short lines. 17 meters is often a preferred choice. Also the briddle on the foil kites is about 5 meters long too.

Keep in mind that our bars come with about 1.4 meters of leader lines. If you order a race bar with 17 meters, the total length will be 18.4 meters.

Race lines or standard lines?

We suggest 2 types of kite lines:

- "standard" high performance 425 kg kite lines, pretty much unbreakable, very low stretching

- 300 kg race lines

Race lines are thiner, so produce less drag. So they are better for racing. To this day, none of the race lines broke.

The "standard" lines are SK99, with very very low stretch and super strong. The breaking load for each line is 495 kg. This is the best possible quality.

Chicken loop size?

The S size (Small) is the most common choice for race foil bars. The XS size is meant for those who ride with rope harnesses, such as Engine harnesses. If you choose XS, then you won't have a donkey dick. You can still use a rope harness with a S size chicken loop.

If you choose XS size, it is best to use a Antal friction ring, to protect the rope and the chicken loop tube. The friction ring will help for sliding.

Adjustable or fixed bar ends

We propose 2 types of bar ends:

- adjustable with 4 holes, same as the Totem Vario bars

- foam bar ends, same as universal Freestyle wave bar ends), fixed length

To choose a bar with foam bar ends, choose a bar size of 47 cm, 52 cm, 60 cm or 65 cm.

To choose a bar with multiple settings for bar ends such as the Totem bars, choose a bar size of 43 cm to 55 cm, 48 cm to 60 cm or 53 cm to 65 cm.

TAKE IT APART COMPLETELY – SPARE PARTS

The only control bar on the market that you can take apart completely and upgrade easily. No use to buy a new bar because one piece is worn out ! All the components of the bar are available online.

AKA SECURE QUICK RELEASER

The quick releaser allows you to release the kite easily. It is a « push away » QR, complying with French Afnor safety regulations. Really easy to trigger and re-hook, especially if you are in the water.

Rotating donkey dick : freestylers will love it.

The chicken loop is reinforced in the middle part, so that it keeps its shape if you unhook.

The QR has a swivel on its upper part. It really works ! You can untwist the lines.

This QR has been improved year after year and is mature. Users of older Kite Attitude bars can upgrade it for a very reasonable price.

EASY CUSTOMIZING

All the components can be replaced very easily.

The universal bar is « plug and ride ». You can connect to the kite and go riding. No need to make special adjustments. But expert riders can fine-tune the bar to their own needs.

Since all components can be replaced very easily, you can upgrade your bar and save money. So you are not compelled to purchase a totally new bar every year.

- You can connect the lines to any kite briddle on the market, because the loops contain knots at the end of the loops. So if, for instance, the briddle of your kite has knots for the back lines and loops for the front lines, you can connect without any problem.

« MADE IN EUROPE », DESIGN AND ASSEMBLING IN FRANCE

The bars are designed in France, the kite lines come from Germany and are sewed in France. The bars are finally assembled in France. This is why we can provide all the possible options and customization. We have all spare parts available at all times.

HIGH END COMPONENTS

We are using are the best possible components to build the Kite Attitude universal bars. Just compare each part with the competitors’s products. Look at ropes, quality of lines, quality of grip, bar centers, etc : it is at least equivalent and often better.

The bar center is molded with stainless steel : it is much stronger than CNC. Not a single bar center broke, over a production of several thousand units.

For instance :

The pulley can sustain up to 700 kg.

The chicken loop is reinforced in the middle, so that it keeps its rounded shape if you unhook.

The depower rope is 5.5 mm wide : it can sustain 2 tons. Most depower ropes on the market are only 4 mm wide, and sometimes less.

If you wonder why the depower rope is not plastic-sheathed, here is why :

1) If you want, you can cover the depower rope with shrinkable plastic tube. You can get some some tube used by electricians to do it.

2) plastic-sheathed depower ropes usually don’t slide as well as plain ropes.

3) plastic-sheathed depower ropes need be much thiner, otherwise they cannot fit into the tubes.

4) our bar center is well rounded and really wide, so the depower rope lasts longer
