You have 4 line kites (inflatable kites, such as Cabrinha, Naish, Evo, Neo, Bandit...) and also 5 line kites, such as a North Rebel or mono skin kites (Flysurfer Peak, ...) or foil kites and you want to be able to land the kite by yourself.
Here is a simple way to add a small connector for the 5th line with a small connector:
With a 4 line kite, the safety is connected to one of the power lines. By adding a small connector and a new power line, the (former) power line connected to the safety becomes the 5th line:
Step 1 - prepare a small connector and a power line:
Step 2 - wrap the red connector around the grey connector, under the steel ring:
Beware of not wrapping also the safety line, because it must slide freely!
Step 3 - connect the new power line the usual way (larsh head knot):
